QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Quincy police arrested a man after they reportedly found a meth lab in his home.

Officers say they already had a warrant for 29-year-old James Altgilbers when they went to his home at 1405 North 6th Street Saturday morning.

They found him there and say they also found evidence of an active meth lab.

During the search, officers found meth, materials for making the drug, as well as meth waste.

Altgilbers is currently in the Adams County Jail.
