Hundreds of of Girl Scouts of Central Illinois started preparing for their 2013 Cookie Sales at Quincy University's Health and Fitness Center.
Girls of all ages practiced selling cookies to each other as well as made goals for how much they plan to sell.
Program Specialist Jessica Foster says this helps the girls learn what they need to do to make sure they can reach their goal. "It teaches girls how to be business wise. How to make a goal and reach that goal and this really gives them an opportunity to take something fun that they enjoy like the cookies and really learning a very important skill," says Foster.
The 2013 Girl Scout Cookie Season starts February 1st.
