QUINCY, IL. (WGEM) -- A schedule which saw the Quincy Notre Dame basketball team play six times in a matter of ten days now slows to only three games the rest of the month.
That doesn't mean the slate gets any easier...
The Raiders host Jacksonville this week, then head to Peoria Manual next week, followed by a return to 'The Pit' for their second and final meeting this season against West Hancock.
The month of February is also imposing but head coach Scott Douglas says it can only help down the stretch.
"The games coming up are hopefully going to be close games, and hopefully we play well enough that we can compete with these people that we're going to be playing against," Douglas told WGEM Sports.
"If that's the case, I think it is and I hope it will be, then we really have to know how valuable each possession is, and play each one with that kind of mindset."
QND and Jacksonville get the ball rolling at 7:30 PM on Saturday night at 'The Pit'.
