Quincy woman charged with battery of infant son to face March trial

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy woman accused of beating her infant son will go to trial in March.

Jessica Meredith, 23, pleaded not guilty to aggravated battery.

Meredith's six-week-old infant was brought to the Blessing Hospital in December 2011 with head trauma.

The baby was later flown by Air Evac to St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

The two day trial is scheduled to start March 21.
