Quincy man sentenced for indecent solicitation of a child

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy man is sentenced to 20 weekends in jail for indecent solicitation of a child.

Earl Wierschem, Jr., 46, was also ordered to serve 30 months probation and fined $1,000.

He was arrested November 2011 for exchanging pornographic images with several underage females whom he "friended" on MySpace.

Authorities say the investigation began back in 2008 when police in California say Wierschem was linked to a fictitious MySpace profile.
