FORT MADISON, Ia. (WGEM) -
Four Fort Madison residents face felony drug charges after officers say they found a meth house near a school.
Nicholas Ryan Mullins, 28, Sarah Lorraine Gould, 24, Joseph Montgomery Walte, 30, and Jennifer Rae Eid, 25, were arrested for manufacturing meth within 1,000 feet of the Fort Madison Middle School.
Lee County Narcotics Task Force officers say they were investigating reports of a strong chemical odor coming from Mullins and Gould's house on Avenue G when they found items used to make meth.
Mullins and Gould also face charges for maintaining a drug house.
