City-Wide Pool Tournament Benefits Meals On Wheels

A little competition, plus a charitable appeal brought out dozens to the Quincy Senior Center today to check out the Quincy Lite Pool League annual tournament.

As the pyramids break this weekend, Meals on Wheels, the Senior Center and the league will be adding up profits from food, drinks, and 50-50 raffles for Quincy's Meals on Wheels program.

"We get a great facility and a nice atmosphere and they get a nice little revenue source for the weekend,"said Quincy Lite Pool League board member John Ellis.

And he says the more visitors, the more profit. You can join the final day of the weekend's action tomorrow from 9 and 5.
