Snow and Ice a factor for drivers in the Tri-States

Saturday's sleet and snow made roads pretty slippery last night, but come morning, the snow was mostly cleared.  Saturday night, as the snow added to already slick roads from the sleet, but today most were cleared off.  Quincy Resident Tyler Woolson said he doesn't worry about driving during with the snowy weather.

And Quincy wasn't the only ones dealing with icy roads.  Hannibal still had some slick areas earlier this afternoon, especially on hills just North of Downtown.  Roads in the shade had the most amount of ice, but now most roads have the possibility of refreezing,  and Valerie Brooks said people just have to slow down until the snow and ice melts.

"Side roads are the ones you just have to be careful on.  You know slow down ahead of time. I had some people complain about that this morning but you know considering it's a Sunday, it's not bad," Brooks said.

Brooks also says to not only watch out for slick roads Sunday Night but also slick sidewalks.
