Macomb City Council members are meeting Monday to discuss plans for some major street renovations.
Macomb's city administrator Dean Torreson says the city received $7.5 million in bond issues that they plan to use to fix up two heavily traveled areas; Ward Street from Jackson to Adams, and Carroll Street from Campbell to White.
"It is starting to fall a part and it's kind of a main alternative to get to the Hy-Vee and Walmart area," Torreson said.
Torreson says the city is also looking at replacing numerous culverts in the area, and tonight's meeting will help the city prioritize those projects.
