QU's Cramsey named GLVC Player of the Week

Quincy University's Lucy Cramsey is the GLVC Player of the Week after averaging 17 points and 12.5 rebounds in two wins last week.

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- Quincy University junior guard Lucy Cramsey has picked up her first career Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honor after playing a major role in a pair of conference wins last week.

The Liberty product scored 21 points and grabbed 10 boards in Thursday's victory over Kentucky Wesleyan.

She followed that with 13 points and 15 rebounds Saturday in the Lady Hawks 65-62 win over previously unbeaten Southern Indiana.

Cramsey now has three consecutive double doubles and QU is off to a 4-0 start in the GLVC for the first time in eight years.
