"A performance driven city."
That's the vision Quincy Alderman and Republican candidate for mayor Kyle Moore says he has for the City of Quincy.
Moore held a news conference Wednesday morning laying out his plan to improve city measures. Moore says he'll do that by following three steps; listening to taxpayers, giving residents a timeline on when work orders will be completed and measuring progress from year to year.
"We're going to implement a citywide Quincy scorecard where we let the data out onto the Internet and on our scorecard, and unbiased graphs that are easy to follow that way residents can go online and they can look, 'Are we truly doing a better job for them this year than the year before?'"
Moore says if elected mayor, he will also hold two public town halls a year, something Moore has done by serving as 3rd Ward Alderman.
