QPS School Board Conducts More Interviews

Posted:
QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

The Quincy Public School board is back to the interview process for a new superintendent.

Saturday board members conducted three interviews with potential candidates.

They've been working alongside search firm "School Exec Connect" since early this fall to fill the position, after past superintendent Lonny Lemon left over the summer.

They had previously offered the position to another candidate, but that candidate turned it down.

There's also no word tonight on who could possibly become the next interim superintendent, as current interim Cal Lee's contract will expire later this month.
