With "the big game" on the way, now is time to shop for TVs

You always hear about big TV deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But believe it or not, now may be the best time to pick up a big screen.

Why? Sales associates at Quincy's Best Buy store say it comes down to two reasons. The biggest game of the year, the Super Bowl, is right around the corner. And newer models are arriving in the spring.

If you're looking for a new TV, you first need to figure out what features you want, and where you're going to put it.

"It really depends on what they want the TV to do. If they want smart apps or built in Wi-fi. And what the room is that they're going to put it in. If it's a basement or if it's a brighter room," said Mike Perkins, a Best Buy sales associate.

Perkins also says if you're an avid sports fan you'll probably want a TV that has 120 Hz or more to get the smoothest picture.
