Ralls County burglary suspect found without shoes, socks

A burglary suspect ran out of his shoes and socks while trying to get away from police Tuesday afternoon in northern Ralls County.

Sheriff Gerry Dinwiddie says a man arrived home from work at his Pershing Road residence to find a suspected burglar in his garage. The resident immediately called 911, but the suspect ran away before law enforcement arrived.

Shortly after arriving at the scene, authorities found the suspect in a barn on Pershing Road about 300 yards away from the home.

The suspects name is expected to be released by the Ralls County Sheriff's Office Tuesday evening. Sheriff Dinwiddie added that the suspect also had warrants in two other Missouri counties.
