
The Culver-Stockton Wildcats are only one game out of first place in the HAAC standings.CANTON, MO. (WGEM) -- The reclamation project at Culver-Stockton continues surrounding the men's basketball program and with only a handful of games left, post season positioning is starting to be one of the team's top goals.
The Wildcats win over nationally ranked MidAmerica Nazarene over the weekend has Jack Schrader's group in a third place tie with Benedictine in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings and just a game behind co-leaders Evangel and MidAmerica Nazarene.
Now the plan is to finish strong.
A national tournament berth would be the Wildcats first in more than a half century.
Next up is a home game with Missouri Valley on Thursday before a trip to Avila Saturday.
