Quincy Notre Dame is putting in a bus stop in Hannibal for the 2013-14 school year.
Principal Mark McDowell announced Wednesday that the "Raider Ride" will begin in August.
To make it possible, QND received a grant from the Tracy Family Foundation and Quincy University donated a 15 passenger bus. Students will be picked up every morning from the Holy Family School parking lot.
"I think it's a great opportunity for especially those students who have been a part of the parochial system in Hannibal, though Holy Family," QND Principal Mark McDowell said. "This gives them the opportunity that they otherwise may not have had to continue and foster that education."
Quincy Notre Dame has 11 students enrolled from the Hannibal area.
