Workers at Pinnacle food in Fort Madison have turned down a tentative contract agreement - and now members of UFCW Local 617 say it's back to the bargaining table.
President Darin Boatman says union members met Sunday afternoon and the agreement was voted down by a two-thirds majority.
He says the union board plans to meet this week, and has spoken to company representatives and hopes to resume discussions with them soon.
He says a strike is a possibility, but at the meeting union officials told employees to be at work Monday.
