Mt. Sterling Municipal Airport gets $156,000 for new weather system

Illinois Governor Pat Quinn has announced a $9 million improvement program to upgrade 19 airports across the state, including A local facility.

The Mt. Sterling Municipal Airport will use $156,000 in state and local funds to install an automatic weather observation system.
