The Quincy school board met Tuesday night, and still no decision on who the next district's next superintendent will be.
Not only is the board looking for a permanent superintendent, but it needs to find an interim one very soon.
Dr. Cal Lee's contract is up at the end of the month.
He gave the state of our schools address tonight, in which he highlighted the district's trends in student achievement and funding.
Board president Bill Daniels says in the coming months, the board will start looking ahead to the next school year.
"We have to look at the crystal ball and figure out what the state's going to send us and decide - do we need to make reductions or can we hold where we are - so that will be coming up in the next sixty days, but nothing on that tonight," he said.
The school district had to start over in its search for a superintendent when it couldn't reach a contract agreement with its finalists.
The board interviewed three more candidates over the weekend, and another at a special meeting Tuesday.
