A Macomb woman was taken to the hospital Friday Morning after she pulled her vehicle out in front of another on US 67.
Sally L. Pestle, 76, tried to drive across the southbound lanes from a private driveway at 9:47 a.m. when she was struck by a southbound car driven by 19-year-old Haley R. Calvert, of Sciota. According to Illinois State Police, the collision spun both cars before they came to a stop.
Calvert was treated for minor injuries and released, while Pestle was transported by ambulance to McDonough District Hospital. Pestle was later transferred to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
