Thousands of people came out to St. Peter second annual pancake breakfast to help benefit the students and teachers at St. Peter.
Chris Cakes from St. Louis came up for the event as people got to test their skills at catching pancakes from the chefs. Christine Tracey says the amount of people that came in shows her how much the community cares about the school.
"Yea I'm really surprised and pleased. I'm excited people want to take part and celebrate catholic Schools week and want to celebrate the students and everything that goes on great here. And then all of the money we raise will go to the grade school association and the purpose of that money is to help aid in the instruction for the students," she said.
There was more than 2,500 pancakes served at the event.
