The Quincy city council voted Monday to continue a partnership with a local company.
They voted to extend the city's yard waste collection and disposal agreement with Evans recycling.
The price is the same as last year. The company is responsible for disposing of any yard waste the city cuts down.
President Roy Evans says this contract is a big one for his company. "We have a contract with the city. Basically, if you look back there at the wood pile and see how big that wood is back there, why, they're the ones that bring in most of that," he said.
Evans said his company has worked with the city for about 10 years.
