Officials at the Hannibal Tourism Building had a close call Monday after a car slid into the side of the building.
Workers at the Hannibal Convention and Visitors Bureau say the driver blamed slick pavement, causing his front tires to lock up and slide into the building.
The crash only caused minor landscape and gutter damage to one corner of the building.
No one was injured.
