WGEM -- The Louisiana City Council's decision to close a council meeting has landed them in hot water with the state.
A letter from the Missouri Attorney General's office says the city's September 10th closed meeting violated the state's open meeting law.
Councilwoman Robbyn Morris was impeached in November after she recorded the meeting that she says shouldn't have been closed in the first place.
The letter didn't mention any fines, but suggested that city leaders attend more training on the open meeting law.
