A couple is facing felony and misdemeanor drug charges as a result of an investigation into the distribution of ice methamphetamine in the Ft. Madison area.
Matthew Thomas Shipley, 37, of Fort Madison was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver second or subsequent offense, maintaining a drug house, and possession of paraphernalia.
If convicted, Shipley faces up to 32 years and 30 days in prison.
Melissa Dawn Davis, 30, of Fort Madison was also arrested and charged with possession of paraphernalia a simple misdemeanor.
If convicted, she faces up to 30 days in prison.
