Taxpayers will now have to foot the bill after vandals damage several areas in Bear Creek Recreation Park, just north of Quincy.
Quincy Park Rangers say there's been extensive damage at the bathroom facilities and to the camp grounds with cars doing donuts in grassy areas.
The cost of repairs is expected to cost thousands of dollars.
And, as of now, they're working on finding whoever caused the damage.
"With us being on patrol less during the winter time and less people in the parks, it's just kind of inviting vandalism and thefts," said Natural Resource Specialist Brent Groesch.
Groesch says the park will be closed until spring time, giving the park rangers time to clean things up.
