QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

If you didn't fill up earlier this week, you're going to wish you had. Gas Prices in Quincy have jumped to $3.49.  That's up 20 cents in less than a week. According to Gasbuddy.com, Illinois has the 10th highest gas prices in the country, and drivers have definitely noticed.

"Well I know I filled up last week and I spent about 30 to 40 dollars and filling up just the other day it was more like 60 or 70," Driver Ethan Allen said.

"Like I said my mother gives me a ride sometimes cause I just can't afford to keep gas in the vehicle and when it's not too cold out we walk or ride the city bus," said Zach Fuhrman.

Gasbuddy.com also reports the national average for a gallon of gas jumped 13 cents in one week.
