Bridge the Gap training program kicks off


Hundreds of people made the pledge Saturday to get fit.

Quincy Medical Group and Nufit kicked off their annual Bridge The Gap training program.

Participants of all ages and skill levels will train for 14 weeks for either a 5K, 10K or half marathon on May 18th.

Trainers say the program helps bring the community together to get healthier.

"This is just an amazing opportunity for people in the community to come together and exercise in a fun way, build comradery among the runners, walkers families. It is just a good way to get in shape and have fun," said Tiffaney Raines of Nufit.

If you sign up for the training program and race by Feb. 8, you will receive a $5 discount on the race.
