Quincy police looking for suspect in Saturday armed robbery

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Quincy Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Hy-Vee gas station on Harrison Street.

Officers say it happened at 7:24 p.m. Saturday, when a male suspect entered the store and showed a weapon. He is described as somewhere between 5'7"-5'10" tall, and wore a ski mask.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken and it was not known which direction the suspect fled.

Officers say if you have any information, you are asked to call Quincy Police right away.
