Quincy man arrested for firing gun

A Quincy man is behind bars after police officers say he fired a gun near an apartment complex.

Police say they were called to Lind Street between 11th and 12th Streets just before 2 a.m. Sunday. They say residents learned that the suspect, Caleb Dickerson, 22, was at an apartment at 1120 Lind Street.

During the investigation, officers say they learned that Dickerson had stolen a pick-up truck and got the gun from the stolen vehicle.

He was taken to the Adams County Jail.
