Ellington Elementary Students Learn Yoga

Students at Ellington Elementary today got their wiggles out in a new way.

NuFit owner Angie Asmann was at Ellington today teaching kindergartners how to do yoga. She says it's important to get kids moving at an early age, and hopes they will keep moving with their parents at home.

"Let's say you are watching American Idol you know, during commercials get down on the floor, do some push ups, do some leg stretches, do some squats, just maybe exercise during commercials and by the time an hour's over of a show then that's 15 or 20 minutes of exercising," she said.

She says that yoga moves are easy for kids to remember and can help them relax.
