MoDOT closing one eastbound lane of US 36 in Hannibal for tree removal

HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) plans to close one eastbound lane on U.S. 36 in Hannibal this week while crews remove trees and brush near the roadway.

Crews will close one lane from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. from Monday-Thursday from Mark Twain Memorial Bridge to Veterans Road.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution while driving through the area. The work schedule is dependent upon weather conditions and could be delayed or rescheduled.
