Quincy Art Center debuts new unique exhibit

A new and unique exhibit made its debut Friday night at the Quincy Art Center.

"Puppetry: A World of Storytelling" was showcased at an open house at the Quincy Art Center.

More than 50 puppets from all over the world are featured.

Director Julie Nelson says this is the first time the Quincy Art Center has ever displayed puppets and they're happy to bring something new to the community.

"It's just very exciting it's an art to making them and it's an art to perform and so I thought this fits in. People are just going from puppet to puppet and piece to piece and it's very rewarding."

If you'd like to see the puppet exhibit, it will be at the Quincy Art Center until March 24.

Admission is $3 for Adults, children and seniors get in for $1.
