Some little "mad scientists" showed off their latest experiments Tuesday night at Madison Elementary for their annual science fair.
Ninety students participated, with topics ranging from volcanoes, mold growing on bread, a design of the brain, and other clever experiments.
Organizers say it goes to show that science can be fun.
"Kids can see that science is a lot of fun and it's not just sitting in a laboratory doing boring things," said organizer Kristy Chevalier.
Quincy High School and Junior High School students served as judges for the event.
