Quincy mayoral candidate Kyle Moore is outlining what he wants the city's financial future to look like.
Moore announced Wednesday his 5-year strategic budget plan if he is elected. Moore says his plan consists of 3 ideas; updating Quincy's "aging" infrastructure, establishing a solid fiscal foundation and a policy where the city no longer borrows money without a plan to pay it off.
"When we don't set money aside then we have to increase our borrowing," Moore said. "So, what i would like to do is to start the process of looking at what are our major expenses over the next five years and can we start to set money aside to pay for those projects so we don't have to borrow money."
Moore says he doesn't believe the current administration has an "overall vision" for the city.
