Floral shops seeing spike in business

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Time is running out to find that special something for your Valentine.  Florists at County Market at 24th and Spring were busy Wednesday night getting ready for the big day on Thursday.

For you procrastinators who might not have placed an order, County Market is making it easy.
A drive-thru will be set up in front of the store so you can grab some last minute flowers tomorrow.

"You know everybody's into convenience and don't want to get out of the car whether it's to get a cup of coffee, go to the bank or get a gallon of milk. If you can drive up, you're more apt to buy it," said County Market Floral Associate Denise Dedert.

Dedert says her best selling flowers on Valentine's Day are either single roses or a dozen.
