The Great River Honor Flight receives donation from 2012 Community Caps

More than 112 thousand soda bottle caps added up to a big donation for Great River Honor Flight.

Today, Ayerco and Refreshment Services Pepsi presented a check for 5,606 dollars and 40 cents.
The proceeds came from the 2012 Community Caps collection drive. And this year's campaign is already in progress.

For every yellow cap on Pepsi products that you turn into local Ayerco gas stations five cents will be donated to Great River Honor Flight.

"Well it's such a good program to get our veterans over to see Washington and to see the monuments and to honor them for the way they've honored and taken care of us," said Carl Adams, the Vice President.

This marks the third year in a row that Ayerco and Refreshment Services Pepsi have partnered with Great River Honor Flight.
