Annual Hannibal Free Clinic meeting

The Hannibal Free Clinic is hoping to grow their outreach in the community even more over the next year.

Today's annual meeting recapped the past year, recognized volunteers, and focused on the year ahead.

In the past five years, the clinic has helped more than 12 hundred residents and provided more than 4 million dollars in medication support to those without health insurance.

"We do have a waiting list and it seems to continue to grow. So we're trying to gear up to handle more and do more for those patients that don't have health through other sources," said Joe Yarbrough, the Chairman of the Hannibal Free Clinic Board.

Since 2007, they provided service to more than 1,223 area residents with more than 6,000 visits.

This past year, the Hannibal Free Clinic moved locations. They're now in the former Salt River Community Health Center off Highway 61.
