Transitions of Western Illinois clients also had a special Valentine's celebration Thursday night.
Nearly 150 transitions clients gathered at Ursa's Zion United Church of Christ dining hall to celebrate the annual transition's valentine's dinner.
The clients enjoyed dinner and dancing.
Officials say Events like this are the most beneficial to the clients.
"It's just so important for our folks to be able to get together and do the same types of things that you and I do, go to party's get together with friends and peers, be able to socialize, and have a nice meal together and have a party just like all of us do," said Rich Zeidler, a Manager for Transitions of Western Illinois.
The Transitions dinner has been an annual tradition for more than 30 years.
The dinner was sponsored and served by St. Paul United Church of Christ in Fowler.
