From the 8th grade classroom to a college campus, some Saint Dominic students got a hands on lesson in anatomy Friday.
Students from Saint Dominic School in Quincy were able to examine sheep brains, hearts and bones at John Wood Community College.
While some of the students thought it was gross, other students were fascinated.
JWCC Professor Ivan Paul says it's a rare chance to show younger kids how fun science can be.
"Unique is that we don't get 8th graders very often," Paul said. "And it's kind of fun to do this and show them science is fun and that there are careers out there in science and technology."
John Wood officials say the partnership between the two schools enhances grade school students' art and science knowledge.
