QUINCY, IL (WGEM) -- Thursday night turned out to be extra special for the Quincy Notre Dame girls basketball team.
Not only did the Lady Raiders win their fourth straight regional championship, they also got a little revenge for their head coach Eric Orne, who six years ago lost to former Quincy High head coach and now Springfield Southeast skipper Sandi Devoe in the post-season
QND scored 90 points en route to a 26 point victory and they've now won 48 straight games dating back to last season.
Two games down, and four to go in the Lady Raiders quest to three peat as state champions.
Next up, a trip to Mount Zion to face Chatham-Glenwood in Monday's sectional semifinals with tip-off scheduled for 6 o'clock.
The teams met exactly a month ago with QND winning by 11 points.
