It may have been cold outside, but that didn't stop some people from hitting the disc golf course Saturday.
The seventh annual "Ice Bowl" tournament brought out dozens of disc golfers to Huckleberry Park in Hannibal.
Golfers were throwing for a good cause though.
All the proceeds from the event go to the Douglass Community Center Food Bank in Hannibal.
Organizers say the event is popular because of how unique it is for this time of the year.
"Traditionally, we have players from St. Louis attend every year. St. Louis area, Columbia, Jefferson City, Mexico. We have players from Iowa even this year around Burlington, Fort Madison. Players just like to get together for an event like this. It's unusual to play in the cold," said Don Crane.
The top golfers received disc golf prizes.
