Firefighters battled a mobile home fire in Maywood Sunday night.
Ewing R-4 volunteer Randy Routt says firefighters responded to the fire located on Highway P just after 5 p.m. The fire is believed to have been caused by a trash fire near the structure.
Routt says crews were on the scene for several hours, but the home was a total loss. He said John and Ethel O'Brien owned the mobile home, but nobody was living it at the time.
Fire crews from Palmyra and Lewistown assisted in battling the blaze.
