New report shows more businesses in Illinois are looking to hire

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

More businesses are looking to hire.

That's according to a survey from the staffing firm ManPower Group, that says 17 percent of Illinois employers plan to add staff during the first quarter.

That's up 3 percent from a year ago.

Adecco officials in Quincy say if you're looking for a job locally, fields in manufacturing, as well as healthcare and hospitality, are expecting a good hiring year.
