A Barry man facing multiple charges including unlawful restraint and aggravated assault after an alleged incident at Western High School, made his first court appearance Tuesday.
Documents from the Pike County Circuit Clerk's office allege that when David M. Anthony, 34, arrived at the high school Jan. 31 to talk with a staff member in her office, he allegedly slammed the door shut, yelled and pointed his finger at her and prevented her from leaving by standing between her and the door.
In addition to those charges, court documents say Anthony was also charged with disorderly conduct after he yelled, according to the alleged victim, "We had better do something because he was crazy, and we would regret it if we don't."
Anthony was also charged with resisting arrest.
The next court appearance for Anthony is scheduled for March 5 at 9 a.m.
