A historic landmark in Macomb will soon be getting a makeover.
The McDonough Courthouse Dome will be seeing some repairs thanks to a $30,000 grant from the state. That money will go toward infrastructure repairs to the outside of the dome.
The total cost for repairs totals $95,000 dollars. Macomb Mayor Mike Inman says the city is looking to pitch in and help pay for some of the repairs.
However, just how much the city can contribute is not yet known.
