Spring focuses State of the City Address on budget & jobs

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Quincy Mayor John Spring delivered his State of the City Address Friday.

Spring says bringing more jobs to the Gem City and dealing with budget issues continue to be his top priorities.

He says the city has made tough choices to cut spending, but still protect public safety.

Spring wants to build on the number of job opportunities for those still unemployed and says the manufacturing sector is key.
