
The constant wind is making things especially difficult for crews trying to clear rural roads. I was told the last truck rolled back in here about two and a half hours ago.
"And I've heard some people carrying sand bags in the back of their cars for weight. And some people carry Oil-Dri, they can put on the tires to get a little traction to get going again if they get stopped," said Stan Reichert, the Superintendent of Maintenance.
Also, some intersections are still a little slick in the county tonight. While crews have not been putting down a lot of salt they will use it on snow packed areas.
