HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -
Grocery stores continued to stay busy over the weekend into Monday with more snow on the way.
County Market had hundreds of people buying those last minute supplies Monday. Store Director Steve Hoffman said they've sold pallets of salt and are completely sold out of shovels, but he said people are also stocking up on food essentials.
"You know during the storm as we look now they're predicting, milk bread and a lot of the stock up items come through in case people can't get out," Hoffman said.
Hoffman said he's seen about a 30 percent increase how many people are came into County Market on Monday.
