Liberty High School Pep Band Plays Basketball Tournament

LIBERTY, Ill. (WGEM) -

The Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders aren't the only group celebrating this weekend. It was a fun weekend for the Liberty High School Pep Band, as well.

The band was selected to play for the IHSA 3A-4A Girls' State Basketball Tournament in Bloomington.

Their director says they are one of eight bands at the boys' and girls' tournaments - and this the second time they have gotten to play for Quincy Notre Dame.
